Briaunna earned her Master of Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Winthrop University and her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Winston-Salem State University. Briaunna’s clinical experience includes working in both university and outpatient mental health settings, where she has supported adolescents, college students, and young adults navigating anxiety, life transitions, relationship concerns, self-esteem challenges, and emotional regulation difficulties.
Her approach to therapy is primarily person-centered and CBT-informed. She believes meaningful change begins with a strong therapeutic relationship built on trust, authenticity, and collaboration. Briaunna’s goal is to provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, gain insight into themselves, and develop the tools and confidence to navigate life’s challenges with greater clarity and resilience.
