Dr. Puranda is from the “Boogie Down” Bronx, NY. He has vast experience working with law enforcement officers, first responders, first-time offenders, adolescents and multicultural populations. Dr. Puranda enjoys inspiring underserved youth to be great despite their circumstances. He is also the founder of the nonprofit, Achieving Success On Purpose. Dr. Kareem uses integrative approaches to meet clients where they are. His philosophy and approach invite clients to think outside the box. His commitment and sincerity in helping clients solve life challenges, make him trustworthy in the therapeutic relationship. Accepting First Responders/Law Enforcement professionals ONLY

Dr. Haynes is a native of North Carolina who has dedicated much of her work to supporting underserved communities in gaining equitable access to mental health care. With over 15 years of experience, she knows that the struggles in life can be real. Dr. Haynes believes in the transformative power of the therapeutic relationship where growth fostering connection begins. She has worked in a variety of academic and treatment settings as a skilled clinician, an educator, clinical supervisor, and counseling administrator. Her areas of expertise include working with individuals and families, couples, college students, and adults of all ages who are faced with a variety of life challenges. Dr. Haynes infuses trauma-informed critical theory and relational approaches to treatment to create pathways to understanding and optimal wellness for the individuals she serves. She also enjoys providing clinical supervision and education to counselors-in-training, internship students, and new professionals working at the practice.

Aniya is a South Carolina native from Fort Mill. She earned her Bachelor of Social Work from Benedict College and her Master of Social Work from Winthrop University. With a background in mental health and a passion for operations, Aniya brings a thoughtful and balanced approach to her work, blending compassion with structure to ensure efficiency and effectiveness. She is driven by a desire to create meaningful change in her community, inspire innovation, and turn strong ideas into lasting impact. Whether refining systems or supporting growth behind the scenes, Aniya is committed to making processes smoother and outcomes stronger. Outside of work, Aniya enjoys serving in her church as a saxophonist, rewatching Grey’s Anatomy for the millionth time, and spending quality time with her husband and daughter.

Cinthia is a bilingual (Spanish/English) therapist with experience providing outpatient, school-based, and trauma-informed therapy services to children, adolescents, and adults. Skilled in biopsychosocial assessment, treatment planning, crisis intervention, and evidence-based therapeutic approaches like CBT, DBT, play therapy, and trauma-informed care. She is passionate about supporting emotional regulation, behavioral growth, and overall mental wellness through compassionate and collaborative care.

Rasheeda is a native of North Carolina. She works primarily with individuals and their families to help them overcome various mental health challenges. Rasheeda has a bachelor’s degree from the UNC at Greensboro in Human Resources and Communication Studies. She obtained her master’s degree in clinical Mental Health Counseling from Capella University. Rasheeda has experience in treating depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship issues, and stress management. She uses a client-centered and holistic approach that incorporates cognitive-behavioral therapy, mindfulness, and positive psychology. She creates a safe and supportive environment where clients can explore their emotions, thoughts, and behaviors, and learn new skills to cope and thrive. Rasheeda is passionate about helping people achieve their personal and professional goals and improve their quality of life. In her free time, Rasheeda enjoys traveling, reading, learning about the African diaspora, trying new restaurants, hiking, yoga, and working out.

Naomi Sheperd is a Counseling Intern pursuing her graduate degree and licensure in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She is a compassionate mental health advocate focused on supporting minority communities. Naomi is skilled in creating inclusive environments and providing high-quality client support. She is committed to destigmatizing mental health through education, outreach, and community engagement, with strong skills in empathy, communication, and cultural competency.

Michael earned his Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling from Capella University and holds both bachelor’s and associate degrees in Criminal Justice from Monroe College. His professional experience spans mental health, psychiatric care, case management, behavioral support, and correctional and community-based settings. Throughout his career, Michael has supported individuals navigating emotional and behavioral challenges, crisis situations, major life transitions, and the process of rebuilding stability and confidence.

Michael brings a compassionate, client-centered approach to counseling, grounded in trust, respect, and collaboration. He works alongside clients to strengthen self-awareness, develop healthier coping strategies, and identify practical tools for managing life’s challenges. His goal is to provide a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard and understood while gaining the insight and confidence needed to create meaningful and lasting change.

Amaria is a North Carolina native from Fayetteville. She earned her Bachelor of Psychology degree from the UNC- Greensboro and is currently earning her Master of Social Work from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Outside of work and school, Amaria enjoys reading, trying new restaurants, and mindful exercises.

Nalo Coban is from NYC. A visionary and creator at heart. She oversees all operations of the practice. Detailed-oriented with extensive managerial experience, Nalo supports and guides the business. She balances work-life with chocolate ice cream and watching documentaries.
